How to Use BreakQuik…

Before using BreakQuik please read our safety and technical manuals with more detailed information.

First drill appropriate diameter holes on drill pattern. Prior to mixing or handling BreakQuik make sure you are wearing proper safety gear. In hot weather make sure you use ice cold water when mixing BreakQuik. Mixing equipment consists of a drill motor either air or electric and a mixing paddle. Use appropriate amounts of water based on instructions with product. Place water in a mixing container, put paddle mixer into pail and then add material mixing as it is placed in pail. Mix until all lumps are gone. This process should take approximately one minute. Every effort should be made to load holes within 3-4 minutes of start of mixing. Leaving BreakQuik in large container for extended periods of time can cause overheating of the product. Cracking will usually take place within 8-24 hours, depending on the strength of the rock. If you are dealing with very hard rock it may take 48-72 hours to break.
